6985th place, in your face!I finished. I was witness to a miracle as my knees, calves and hips allowed me to run the 26.2 miles on a freezing Sunday morning in December. I don’t want to brag or anything, but there were over 4000 people behind me that I pretty much left in the dust. I averaged 13.664 minutes per mile and placed 636 in my division. I know, I know, throwing these kinds of astronomical numbers around is somewhat staggering, but when one reaches the blazing speeds I was maintaining, you just have to do the math.
Honestly, every step was a miracle and I learned many valuable spiritual lessons while training and during the run itself.

Congrats!!! That is an awesome thing. You Rock!
Adam and I are very proud of you. It really is awesome and you, I, and Kenny all did it together!
whenever i run in these "races," my two goals are 1) finish, and 2) don't finish last. so, your effort looks like a true success to me!
