Yes, that's a 1 foot ruler next to a diseased colon. (ignore the date on the photo, glad the doc had the guts to take a photo anyway) My brother-in-law Ray had emergency surgery yesterday. Removing his colon saved his life. It was a very stressful day for our families. Trying to make life and death decisions while in emotional distress is mind numbing. He will have a long recovery. Keep Ray in your prayers.
