Who’s Got Your Back?
Super Dave Carder is my friend. Dave has ‘got my back’ and I cannot say that about many people. Dave is a leader and a dreamer. Dave brings to me and the Apex Community the unique perspective of a warrior who loves the Lord. Dave knows that every moment is a gift from God and the important things are not gotten but given. I will miss my Dave, my Amy, my Andy, my Jessie, my Jake and my Eliza, each Carder unique and each adorable.
Amy’s ‘got my back’ too, and I can’t say that about many people. Amy’s gifts of hospitality and organization, as well as putting up with the likes of Dave, make her blessed among women. Amy, I will miss knowing you are right around the corner and available at a moment’s notice, a privilege I used many times.
The Carders are in my prayers and thoughts. I can only imagine the adventures and experiences that they will have in Iceland and the memories they will share with us on their return. I can only hope Iceland has been warned about the “brood” from Vegas that will be unleashed upon the great northern tundra.
To the Carder family, we love you, we pray for your safe journey and return. But, until then, Jesus will have your back. I know He does and I can’t say that about too many people.
