Thank you
I wrote this down last year and swore that I'd post it sometime. With today being the one year anniversary of our flood I thought it appropriate.
Thank you for helping us after the Aug. 19, 2003
“100 Year Flood” wiped out our home
Kelly and Kenny Parker – Picking up our Children, who knows how Kelly got here, and housing us and Kenny came over and removed drywall and cleaned up yard. Kenny helped put up all the drywall in the house.
Joel and Christa Fazzi – Coming over and helping Heidi just after the storm, fixing my computer.

Joe and Debbie Boyd – Housing us and Joe came over to lend moral support and be here for us. Debbie watched all the children to free up Kenny to come help with drywall.
Doug and Cheryl Citizen – Housing and Doug came over and cleaned and did yard work. They also hosted our girls at there house.
Cat, John, Martine and Terese – Kat came over on day one and brought water, some flat nose shovels and lots of support, She and her daughters, helped to scrap off mud under patio, and around pool the first person to show up and be there for us. Kat is my beaver-ific friend.
Monty and Cindy Drew – Moving dirt, bringing over pool pump, cleaning up all the debris in the yard with a back hoe and dump truck, brought ice chest and water for all worked all day Saturday and left the yard looking better that it looked ever.
Tracy and John Hamelmann – Food and offer of their trailer to live in if we needed it, we have since called and asked for it and John is bringing it over Monday. John brought over the trailer and we are now using it as a home school room.
Amy and Dave Carder – Support, coming over, calling us, helping to find us Mark and June, taking care of Caitlin, bringing water for the crew, Dave helped my lift big green onto casters. Dave brought me his left over drywall screws and tape and Dave went to home depot with me to bring home the sheets of drywall.
Mark, June, Cody and Cory Lagor - Strangers coming to help remove baseboards and drywall. Their sons are a blessing. Mark came over and helped put in all the drywall in the house.
Scott and Scott – New friends just happened to be right there when I needed them mucked pool and acid washed
Bill and Caroline Reynolds – Took all nails out of all the base boards and prepped for reinstall, cleaned floors. Caroline watched Bronwyn and Caitlin several times while we regrouped.
Aaron Rico – (Bill Reynolds friend) Took all nail out and cleaned up baseboards
Tommy and Megan – Yard clean up and an incredible work ethic, Tommy rocks, Megan was pregnant and helped clean
Joe Patton – Yard clean up and came up with the suggestion that we could pick up a blown over tree and tie it up. I will never look at that tree the same again
Adam Hunt – Yard clean up
Robb Lentz – Yard clean up, brought over pressure washer and Kirk McCorkle
Kirk McKorkle – General Clean up

Mush – Coming over to clean after several attempts and getting turned away because we were in middle of drywall removal
Sema and Shital – Sema cooked some fantastic Indian food and brought it over to us. Very nice, tasty too!
I know that I missed some people. The clean up continues to be a lesson in patience and love for me. As of today, I'm still putting up baseboards and trying to get back to zero, if that is possible. Once again thanks for the love and hope that my dear friends have brought into our lives and wounded home. I thank God each day for all of you.
