MUD
If you have ever walked through the “guy mall” you may have noticed a square box way in the back filled with mud. Yes, I mean mud at Home Depot, the good stuff. The kind you repair drywall with. If you look closer you with see an ichthys (fish symbol) on this cardboard box filled with mud. With all the remodeling that we’ve done, a few of these boxes have passed through our home this past year. But it took the advise of a Christian carpenter to say flip it over and read the scripture.
Water gives life, water brings destruction. Mud is messy; mud can heal a wound in your wall.
Sometimes ordinary brown boxes full of mud can reveal beauty and truth if you look a little closer.
